The last of the five Par 3’s and if you’ve played all five well then you are generally in for a good round. This par 3 is the most demanding, especially into a head or cross wind. The tee shot is all about carrying the ball over the picturesque but treacherous burn that winds its way in front, and to the right of the green, which itself slopes down from right to left. Many a good card has suffered here.
Gladly you have now seen the last of The Wellrig Burn … for this round anyway.
Hackers’ tip: Take the driver. The tee is sheltered a bit from the wind – oh and watch the burn!
