A solid drive is needed here – the Wellrig Burn comes into play in front of the teeing areas. Tee shots on landing tend to kick towards the right-hand fairway bunker. The second shot is long and slightly uphill to the green, which is a raised upturned saucer where a ball can readily be shrugged off.
