On 18th August Duns Golf Club held there annual open competition ‘The Hay Trophy’. On a day which favoured the early starters with both wind and rain picking up as the day progressed, Duns member Allan Anderson, playing in the second group off returned a remarkable course record score of 65-5-60 to deservedly take home the title. Congratulations go to all those who won prizes and Duns Golf Club thanks you all for your continued support. Pictured is Allan receiving The Hay Trophy from Mr Alick Hay of Duns Castle.

Greens Maintenance from Monday 20 August

Greens maintenance will take place from Monday 20th August and should be finished on Tuesday 21st weather permitting. We apologise for any inconvenience but to continue to improve the greens our greens consultant must undertake this action within the main growing season. Some holes may be closed but our greenkeeping staff will advise on the notice board.

Temp Greenkeeper required

We are looking for a full time temporary person starting as soon as possible to assist our greenkeepers until the end of the season approx. 6/8 weeks. Must have experience of using grass cutting equipment. If anyone is interested please email club on secretary@dunsgolfclub.com or speak to our green ranger Iain Renton.
